All is ~seemingly~ well with the Clan. Dustlight hasn't had any visions from StarClan for several moons, and is uncertain if it is because the Clan is flourishing or if there is something wrong.

All is ~seemingly~ well with the Clan. Dustlight hasn't had any visions from StarClan for several moons, and is uncertain if it is because the Clan is flourishing or if there is something wrong.

Dawnlight has given birth in secret to a kitten, whom Willowstar has named Shadowkit. Nobody
else, aside from Griffinclaw and Willowstar, knows that Dawnlight has given birth, and she wishes
to keep it a secret.
Meanwhile, Darkfang, one of HiddenClan's newest warriors, had somehow shifted into her wolf form accidentally and is now unable to shift back, and the Clan is still trying to adjust to this strange new change. Then Darkfang's old pack of wolves has entered into HiddenClan territory in an effort to find Darkfang again and reclaim her, and Willowstar has led a patrol out of camp to investigate some 'hound-like smells' lurking in the depths of the territory, unknowing of the wolves just yet.
Sandwolf wandered aimlessly around the camp. "Hello?" she called.

DeleteSandwolf padded into camp carrying a mouse and a sparrow, and smelling strongly of ferns, it was a planty green smell.. She set her prey down on the fresh-kill pile.
Sandfire padded out from the elder's den and smelled mice and ferns. She went to grab a mouse off the pile and settle down when she saw Sandwolf take a thrush and settle down near an oak.

"Is that wolf scent?" Dawnlight asked Griffinclaw. He didn't answer, he only kept sniffing the air.
ReplyDeleteDawnlight looked out of the den. She could hear a noise.
Gingerly she poked her head out of the cave and saw a strange cat! Dawnlight was instantly angry! Was there anyone on guard? Where was everyone?
"Hey! Who are you and what are you doing in my camp!" Dawnight called. The aging tabby padded over to the strange cat with Shadowkit and Griffinclaw behind her.
Moonbeam's eyes widened. "Willowstar." She whispered into her ear. "There's a strange cat scent coming from the edge of our border."
ReplyDelete"Where does it lead to?" She asked.
"If my hearing and smell is right, it leads straight to camp. There are cats on guard there, I think, so the kits should be okay."
"Don't tell anybody else about this." Willowstar gazed at her. Moonbeam nodded. Willowstar turned to the others. "We must continue to follow this wolf."
The cats on Willowstar's patrol halted, sniffing the tracks carefully. She's right, Moonbeam realized. It wasn't a dog I saw.
ReplyDelete"Willowstar." She whispered urgently to her. "Should we really alarm our patrol like this? Can't we just try getting Darkfang to speak to the wolf first?"
"We can't see anything yet," Willowstar murmured back. "It's possible that these wolves have already passed by; the scent is already growing stale. We need to find and locate the enemy first. " The leader took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down, before lifting her muzzle to taste the air. Sure enough, the wind brought the faintest traces of wolf-scent, coming from the east; the wolves were approaching the camp! Willowstar's eyes widened and she beckoned with her tail for the patrol to follow silently.

Sandfire walked up to Dawnlight, "What are talking about? It is me Sandfire and Sandwolf."

Graytooth walked into camp with a snow white tom, "I found him out while I walking around. He was in the woods."

Delete"Snow?!" Sandwolf got up, "What are you doing here?" She yelled angerly. "Sandwolf, I think we have bigger problems," Sandfire said looking at something outside camp. "WOLF!!" Sandwolf yelled.
ReplyDeleteI got up from the medicine den, and went outside. Everyone was busy, as usual. I decided to look for Willowstar. Then I see a few cats that I haven't seen before (since I haven't been on in a while. I might post more oftenly from now on). "Who are these warriors...?" I asked myself.

ReplyDeleteI walked around the clan, thinking about what happened while I've been out unconscious. To even think I've missed so many fellow warriors... I turned my head, hoping for someone to let me know what has been going around lately.
Dustlight exited the dark medicine cavern, and rolled contentedly onto the warm earth. His bright yellow eyes searched the clouds absentmindedly. It had been several moons since StarClan had given him any omen or prophecy; the aspens had begun to bloom and the tall grass was dancing with the breeze, as if to join the Clan in its tranquility.
ReplyDeleteA feathery white cloud traveled slowly by. 'Why have't I heard from StarClan?' Thought the tom as he gazed up at the sky. 'Surely I would have heard something from them, even if there's nothing to worry about..' Brow furrowing, the tom sat up. 'Stop making something out of nothing. The Clan is fine, that's all there is to it.' He chided himself, and shoved the pinprick of unease to the back of his mind.
